Who we are

Digital Media Launch decides how your details are used. Contact us at [email protected] or on +44 7441 353429. We are based in Manchester, United Kingdom. Our registered company details are in the footer of every page.

What we collect

From the enquiry form: your name, phone number, your email and business name and website if you give them, your message, the page you sent it from, and whether you ticked the offers box.

When you book a free Google check: the details the booking form asks for, and the time you picked.

When you call or email us: your number or address, and what you tell us about your business.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare and deliver the free Google check you asked for, and to do the work if you become a client. We need to do this to deal with your request and any agreement that follows.

If you tick the offers box, we will send you occasional tips and offers by text or email. That is based on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time: use the unsubscribe link in an email, reply to a text asking us to stop, or contact us.

If we've texted your business

We sometimes text limited companies to tell them about our services. We take the business name and phone number from public listings such as Google Maps, and check on the Companies House register that the company is still active. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: telling local businesses about a service that may help them.

You can object at any time. Reply STOP to any text from us, or contact us using the details above, and we will stop. We then keep your number on a do-not-contact list so that we don't contact you again.

If you don't reply, we remove your details 6 months after our last text to you.

Who we share it with

Your details are held in our customer system, which is provided to us by HighLevel Inc. That company keeps them on servers in the United States. The transfer is covered by the UK-US data bridge, the UK's adequacy regulations for certified US companies.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google handles that data for us, also under the UK-US data bridge. We do not sell your details to anybody.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and free Google checks: 2 years after our last contact. Records of client work: 6 years after the engagement ends, which is the period we may need them for tax and accounting. Then we delete them.

Cookies

  • _ga and _ga_*: Google Analytics, set only if you press Accept, to count visits and see how the site is used. They last up to 2 years.
  • __cf_bm: set by Cloudflare to protect the site from automated bots. It lasts about 30 minutes.
  • Our website platform may set an identifier to manage links and split testing, for up to a year, with a related record in your browser's storage.

The live chat loads on every page and keeps a small record in your browser's storage so your conversation carries on from page to page. You can change your analytics choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. To block or delete cookies generally, use your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, or ask us to correct them, delete them, or stop using them. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
